Christopher Young, Ph.D., is a professor of history and the assistant vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at Indiana University Northwest. He has published widely on a range of topics on the American Revolution, the Early American Republic, the early American presidency, and Public Memory in the United States. His work has appeared in scholarly and mainstream outlets including the Journal of the Early Republic, Journal of American Studies, the Journal of the Abraham Lincoln Association, the American Jewish Archives Journal, The Conversation, and The Lamp. Recognized by Indiana University with its Sylvia E. Bowman Award for Distinguished Teaching, Professor Young has appeared twice on the popular podcast, American History Hit, to discuss early American presidents.

K. Alan Snyder, Ph. D. received his doctorate in history from The American University in Washington, DC, and has more than thirty years’ experience as a university professor. Dr. Snyder’s area of concentration has been American history and he has taught courses on every period in American history throughout his career, focusing on intellectual, religious, and pol
